Our partners in the Philippines used Simix A/C Ceramic Coating on one conditioner, then compared it to another unit that was the same make and model, installed in the same year, doing the same work.
On a single test day in the hot summer month of January, the Simix-coated unit used 9 kWh while the untreated unit used nearly three times as much energy -- 24 kWh.
Over the course of 15 days, the Simix-coated unit used 151 kWh while the untreated unit used 243 kWh. That's a 38% energy savings.
In a very warm September, Simix cleaned and coated an air conditioner at a large facility in Boone County, Missouri.
The unit was extremely dirty. Before it was coated, the air speed above the fan was 4.2 mph. After the unit was cleaned with Simix Multi-Surface Cleaner, the airspeed was recorded at 8.2 mph.
